Difficult times ahead...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Especially in this country, I think we think it's easy street when it comes to living our Christian lives, but here's the spoiler alert, things are changing with evil seeming to rule the day, and it also appears things are becoming eviler with each passing day. If someone doesn't get their way, instead of looking to positively influence others with their proposed better outcome, they moan and cry and look to force their way upon others, at any cost, in order to get their way. Hierarchy and order are tossed out the window as if a more civil society never existed in our collective past. I guess we shouldn't be surprised as followers of Jesus Christ, for Jesus said to His disciples; "Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves." (Matthew 10:16) Yes, it's a mad, diabolically evil world beyond the borders of our spiritual safe haven in Christ; we must be ready to fight the good fight for surely good will conquer evil in due time thanks be to Jesus and His willingness to set the right loving example for all of us to follow… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
