Dealing with know-it-alls...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Lord, I gotta tell you, one of my biggest beefs in this life is when I have to listen to people who know nothing, speaking as if they know everything! Yes, in most cases I just need to walk away for it's extremely difficult, if not impossible, to reason with people who have no desire to reason. But when these know-it-alls are badmouthing you and/or Jesus and/or the Holy Spirit, then I need to step up and stand up for what is good and true and right! I'm reminded of Jesus one day when He discovered those disrespecting you for dishonest gain; "Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who sold pigeons. He said to them, 'It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you make it a den of robbers.'" (Matthew 21:12-13) May I seek such passion and follow-through in my life as I take action in the name of Jesus by simply doing what needs to be done… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
