Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... If individuals don't show up for an event which they are an integral part of, does that mean that they didn't care enough to think the thought, "What if everybody didn't care enough to show up?" Whatever it is that we proclaim to be a part of, if we're not 100% in, then what are we? I say that we don't care enough to support those of the same cause to which we proclaim to be a part of, and if we don't care then why should anybody care, and THAT, O Lord, is a formula for failure to the nth degree of any and every endeavor we seek to undertake. The society in which we live is ALWAYS looking for the east way out, to sleep in when we should be diligently supporting one another, to find excuses for that which we know needs to be done; like supporting one another. Am I guilty of such practices? Yes I am, so that's why TODAY is THE day to change my ways for the betterment of others; TODAY let me diligently be committed to making today AND tomorrow a day worth remembering, a day I decided to change the world by following through with my commitments; to stop mediocracy in its tracks by doing what I know I need to do. Why is this important? It's really quite simple; Jesus said, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62) We all MUST BE fit for the kingdom of God at the end of our days… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
