Can we trust one another...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Don't we all hate people that have an ulterior motive? I know hate is a strong word with a terribly negative connotation, but it certainly speaks to the extreme dislike of having to deal with such people. It's one of our biggest problems when it comes to interfacing with others; can we trust them? Can we honestly and innocently share what needs to be shared without expecting to get backstabbed as our reward for such honesty? Truthfully, those committed to being Christlike have no alternative but to trust others, and in doing so, demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ to those who need such love demonstrated the most! The teachings of old are as relevant today as they were in past times; "You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord." (‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭19‬:‭17‬-‭18)… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
