Built to last the test of time...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Any man or woman taking the time, on a daily basis, to count their blessings relative to being blessed with a caring and loving spouse is a man or woman not far from the Kingdom of God. One day a scribe asked Jesus what was the most important commandment of all, and Jesus answered, "The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these." (Mark‬ ‭12‬:‭29‬-‭31‬) Perhaps THE best testament to a great marriage is to be viewed as a man who loves his wife as himself, and likewise, a woman who loves her husband as herself.
