Blessed are those who see and hear the truth...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... The more I study your scriptures, your words of truth, the more it becomes readily apparent just how often the physical is used to clarify the spiritual. It makes perfect sense for how else could we who are physical possibly comprehend your spiritual ways? But here's a mystery revealed, we have to use our physical capabilities (eyes, ears, and our brain) to have a shot at understanding the otherwise hidden meanings of the scriptures. For Jesus said, "This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand...But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear." (Matthew 13:23, 16) Jesus knew that only a few would desire to see, and hear, and comprehend His message of truth and forgiveness and love, but oh the blessings that await for those willing to do so... Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
