Being truly saved...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... I'm pretty sure most of us dramatically underestimate the power in being truly saved. No matter come what may, in good times and bad, you have our backs, O Lord. Powerful words to be sure; "The Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:26-28) Could we imagine a better scenario? Deserving nothing, since sin separates us from your presence, but being perfectly forgiven, so much so that you don't even remember our sins! Made perfect by the blood of Jesus Christ, as your word so aptly testifies to this amazing truth, "I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." (Hebrews 8:12) Being truly saved is truly amazing… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
