A beautiful life...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's certainly intriguing that "self-control" is a fruit of the Spirit as identified by Paul to the church at Galatia. Why? Because we feel like there's nothing we can do about our present situation, there's nothing to control for it's just the way God created us to be. But truth be known, through self-control, we can and must control our sinful nature. No doubt, controlling all things spiritual is our calling in Christ. "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." (Galatians 5:22-24) Yes, we will fail at times trying our best to uphold this beautiful standard of living, but we need to know that the blood of Jesus, for those who have been baptized into his name, cleanses us from all sins we've committed in our weaker moments… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
