Be still, and know that I am God...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... How powerful it is when someone with the best intentions truly chooses to pay attention to us. It's one of our basic needs in this life; to simply have a voice in the matter at hand. We all have something to say, but not everyone makes the time to truly listen, in fact, it's common for others to "talk over" our words just so their words can be heard. In Psalms 46:10 we're challenged to listen to what needs to be heard the most; "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" If we were talking over those words then we'd never know just how pivotal of a role you play in our lives, setting in motion all aspects of human interaction with your magnificent creation. Lord, when I finally listen, I HEAR YOU loud and clear… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
