Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... There's a real dilemma these days in our present day state of affairs; it has become easier and easier to develop a real disdain for hateful people. Why? Because they can't seem to keep their hateful views to themselves; constantly desiring they are to rub it in the face of kinder and gentler Christlike souls. Followers of Jesus Christ have been in the storm for so long, it's laborious to see the evil in this life proclaimed as good, and quite honestly, no one can honestly say they're not sick of it! But here we are, followers of Jesus Christ desiring to lash out against our oppressors? Seriously? Yes, we must ALWAYS stand up for the truth, but at the same time perhaps additionally we need to lift up their names in prayers. Yes, by name, in order to make our request personal so we can encourage them to develop a personal relationship with their AND our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. "This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:11-12) No doubt, we ALL need Jesus in our lives, and when He is with us, we will then and only then stop spewing hate from our evil lips… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
Amen
