If it wasn't so sad, it would almost be amusing concerning how "assumed" heaven as a destination has become for those who pass from this life to their destination in the next step on their spiritual journey (saved to heaven, not saved to hell). For those left living, we have to understand that our faith is a personal decision, not something we can impose

Oh we can start with pure motives but under the surface, at a minimum, we expect reciprocal behavior from the one being "forgiven." So it's inevitably a negotiation for peace, I give, you give, and then we can make this relationship work. But this is the great differentiator with J
