Your ways are far about our ways...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Lord, your ways are SO far above our ways that it's impossible for us to comprehend what it must be like to be the creator of the universe, but in other ways, we can't help but to question your existence! If we REALLY knew, there's no way ANYONE would question your ways, so it's interesting to note that when Jesus showed up to be baptized by John the Baptizer, John didn't want any part of it; "Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, 'I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?'" (Matthew 3:13-14) Did John know what to do better than Jesus knew what to do? Obviously not, but isn't that JUST what we do on a daily basis, to question your involvement, your existence in our lives? Yes, it is. Telling you what to do as you humble us over and over again; you would think we would learn. Lord, your ways are FAR above our ways. A better path would be for me to just be quiet and listen to your voice which speaks through your creation… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
