Words of life / words of truth...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It can certainly be argued that someone purchasing us to free us from the bondage of sin, is THE definition of pure love. Who is going to do anything of significance, not the least of which is sacrificing one's own life for someone else unless they have a vested interest in that outcome, or they were forced into it? It ain't gonna happen nowhere, nohow, except that it DID happen when Jesus left heaven to live a life of suffering and shame, all so that we might live forevermore. Jesus said, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:35) God is love which translates to Jesus is love, and we are viewed as loving when we love as He loved us. How important is it that we listen to the spiritually wise words of Jesus? He told us how much when He stated, "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment but has passed from death to life." (John 5:24) …Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
