Trust and obey...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's high time we stop putting you and your son and the Holy Spirit in a convenient little box, nicely wrapped in a way we can comprehend with our simple minds, conveniently packaged as we expect you to be. Truth be told, we have no idea, absolutely no clue as to where we stand in comparison to you in the scheme of the universe! When we try to imagine what you're capable of doing, I suspect it's 1/1000th of 1% at best, for your ways are SO far above our ways, O Lord, that we cannot possibly relate. So, what are we to do? All we have to do is to commit to your will in our lives, and in doing so, allowing YOU to transform us into a blessed creature that is more than willing and able to ascertain all things that are good, pleasing and perfect. "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:1-2) When we trust and obey, we begin to realize that there really is no other way to be joyful in Jesus and in this life, so we simply trust and obey in your ways… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
