This is our house our foundation...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... In our house it's always been somewhat of a sad day when the Christmas tree has to be taken down. I suppose it's because it represents so many wonderful blessings to us, not the least of which are faith, family, and the rallying point for knowing how it truly interacts daily to bring us all together in this season of blessings. But, at the end of the day, it's just a tree, and it's time to go on living our lives throughout the rest of the year, all the while looking forward to the time when we'll revisit this tree yet again finding its way into our home, bringing even more comfort and joy and family-goodness to our lives in due time. Life is like this; we have people coming in and out of our lives continually throughout the years. Each of them doing their part to mold us into whom you have created us to become. May we find blessings in such moments, knowing that our lives are built upon the foundation of Jesus Christ and his righteousness. For Jesus said, "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock." (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭24‬-‭25‬)… THIS is our house, our forever foundation...Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
