The ultimate To-Do List...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Even the strongest of believers have issues completing their ever-expanding To-Do List on a daily basis, all the while knowing they should be spending more time with you, O Lord. The realities of today seem to force us into spending a disproportionate amount of our time resolving the issues in this life rather than investing our time in the next life (aka the one that matters the most). What are we to do? Lord, as for me and my family, we're going to turn it over to you. If that means we're more efficient because you've made us more efficient to solve these problems so we can get back to you where you've called us to be, then so be it, but if it's to move on from the issues of the day, while not compromising our Christlike objectives, then so be that! For our calling is simple and straightforward and true as Jesus declared when He stated, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37-39) THIS is our ultimate To-Do List… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
