The Spirit helps us...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's not easy to truly understand our relationship with you, O Lord; for your ways are so much higher than our ways. So if we ever start thinking we understand your ways, then we had best rethink our know-it-all ways; that's the truth of this matter. But at the same time, you challenge us to move from the physical to the spiritual side of life; promising the forgiven that your Holy Spirit is always mindful of our actions and our shortcomings; "The Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God." (Romans 8:26-27) The more we search for your ways, O Lord, the more we understand just how much you love us and care for us more deeply than we can possibly imagine or deserve… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
