The path to life everlasting...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... What does it mean to lose everything? Can we possibly relate? I know one thing, we work and struggle and strive to get ahead in this life, and for what reason; to feel comfortable in our current situation? We have one purpose in this life, and that is to serve in the kingdom of Jesus Christ and Him crucified! If we are blessed along the pathway of this journey, then so be it, but if we feel we have lost everything then please help us Lord to know that you have our back. Philippians 3:8 says, "Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord." Those in Christ are on the pathway to life everlasting, a place where "stuff" of this life means NOTHING! So, when we do suffer loss, Lord, may you remind us of what really matters the most; bringing our thoughts to a place 10,000 years from now where the suffering of this life is but a distance memory comparted to the blessings of eternity in love, peace, joy, and happiness, all the while helping us cope with our present suffering as we help one another on the path to life everlasting… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
