Something worth fighting for...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... I gotta believe it's been this way from the beginning, when people take a position that's based on intimidation and domination, it's going to end in a fight to see who's toughest. But here we go again, our warning is clear and true when Jesus said, "Those who live by the sword will die by the sword." (Matthew 26:52) Jesus isn't saying not to fight for all of the right reasons, but rather, we need to be willing to accept the consequences when we fight to simply get our way. Is it really worth it? Never! But when we fight to protect God's honor and glory, we are fighting for something worth fighting for… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
