Something out of nothing...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It seems like there are more and more people who believe their life has very little meaning or purpose. Truth be known, there's nothing that could be further from the truth. We all know life's not easy, but to say there's no reason to keep on living is to dramatically underestimate God's ability to make something out of nothing. Without question, we ALL have meaning and purpose in this life at this very point in time; called to live life to its fullest. The Christian song, The Solid Rock, speaks to this thought process via these lyrics of spirit and truth, "My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness." THIS is how we find ourselves, not in the empty promises this world seduces us into believing, so-called promises that are nothing more than cleverly disguised deceptions leading us away from Jesus Christ; for Jesus said, "For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." (Matthew 24:24) We have no choice but to carefully step through the minefields of life, trusting the words of Jesus, listening to HIs voice for guidance; all the while discounting all others that are bent on leading us away from the Master… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
