Go and sin no more...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... We love to focus on the love of Jesus and rightfully so, for this world needs the type of love that Jesus both talked about and demonstrated to us in real time. But quickly forgotten is how much Jesus focused on "going and sinning no more" after we've come to an understanding that His love needs to be set in motion in all situations and circumstances. Truth is, His love for us demands that we focus on being a people dedicated to His cause. In John 8 we are introduced to the woman caught in adultery, and as the story unfolds with all of her accusers going away one by one because of their sins, only Jesus and the woman were left remaining; "Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more." (John 8:10-11) What is Jesus really saying? He is saying I love you and I'm not judging you, but yet I expect you to act on your faith moving forward; I expect a change of heart; go and sin no more… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
