Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's so easy to get the cart ahead of the horse; we think we can predict the future when in reality it's difficult, if not impossible, for us to determine even how today is going to turn out. But with each new day we're forced to make a series of moment-by-moment decisions, oftentimes they're dictated to us as our day unfolds, not what we had in mind this morning, but that's our lot in life, to serve where we are called to serve. What really matters is how we choose to handle change; are we visibly frustrated, lamenting how things never quite go our way, or do we accept change, embrace it, and make the most of the moment at hand? I know what Jesus did; He rolled with the punches, calling out those who needed called out, but was CONSTANTLY using the moment as an opportunity to change this world for the betterment of all, especially those who freely chose and continue to choose to walk in His footsteps of suffering and shame. "For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps." (1 Peter 2:21) … Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
