Rivers in the desert...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's not something we're proud of, not something we enjoy carrying on our shoulders with each and every new day, but it's the reality; we can't seem to shake the bad things from our past, the burdens we carry on a daily basis. But that's not from you for your words teach us; "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:18-19) With you, each new day is just that, a new beginning, a fresh start, and don't we all desire such things? Indeed, for when we KNOW we are a forgiven people, that the weight is lifted, our burdens gone / forgiven forevermore, then, and only then, we experience the beauty of how you meant for life to be framed, protecting us from our own self-beatdowns, enabling us to live life the way it was meant to be lived, anticipating each new beginning with a renewed fervor for living life to its fullest… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
