People make bad decisions...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's a fact, since the beginning of time, people have been making bad decisions. It doesn't mean they didn't have good intentions, but the strangest thing is that these decisions are often made with the most selfish of ambitions known to mankind. It's one thing if those decisions impact only self, but it's a completely different thing when those decisions impact the masses. That's why Jesus was so different! He made decisions not on the basis of His own selfish ambition, but rather, for the good of the many. And here's the kicker, if we're not Jesus, then we are all guilty of this type of illogical behavior, and rarely does this selfish ambition create a better day. But here's the good news, the decisions made in this life are only temporary, whereas our decision to follow Jesus Christ has eternal ramifications; Jesus's said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day...Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life." (‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭44‬, ‭47) This world has issues, that's for sure, but we can also rest assured knowing that Jesus has overcome the world… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
