Only a few moments in time...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... What is our life, but a vapor, here one moment and gone the next, as James so articularly stated. Lord, when it all boils down, we only have a relatively few moments in time to magnify your excellence to a world that has seemed to have forgotten who you are. How will we seize those moments? Will we freeze in our tracks, not sure of the right thing to say until the opportune moment has passed? Or will we choose to simply step up and do the right thing and say what needs to be said in the moment it needs to be stated? Jesus proclaimed that which we need to proclaim when He said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭19‬-‭20‬) Until we have taken our last breath it's never too late to simply GO and do what Jesus desires for us to do, just as the words to Ester, so many years ago, ring loud and true yet today; "For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" (Esther 4:14) Our time is NOW… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
