Not knowing is the beginning of knowing...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... I think we all remember our youth well enough to realize that at one time we probably thought we knew it all. Then we grew older and realized that we actually know very little when all is said and done. Satan has a way of duping us like that, teaching us to ignore the fact that the Bible contains the words of life, and as such, it teaches us all things that are worth learning if we but take the first step to learning your ways for our lives. Paul wrote of the need for Timothy grow in the word with these words of encouragement and wisdom, "Flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will." (2 Timothy 2:22-26) Lord, you have given us all an opportunity to get our lives right with Christ, to be baptized into His death, burial, and resurrection, and in doing so, forever linking our lives with a life that is beautiful beyond words, life eternal… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
