No hissy fits necessary...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... The longer I live the more I can attest to the fact that an ounce of planning prevents a pound of trouble. This saying is simply a variation of Benjamin Franklin's famous saying, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Both sayings have stood the test of time in a world that encourages us to "fly by the seat of our pants." Temptations to take the easy way out of situations abound; especially in these days of anything goes, and if it doesn't go to our liking, we're encouraged to protest to the nth degree, all the while, doing whatever it takes to convince others "they are as wrong as wrong can be" whereas "we are as right as right can be!" Personally, the "you're wrong" mentality is perhaps the worst of the wrongs we could possibly commit due to its judgmental nature. We just need to take a deep breath and realize that 99.9% of the time everything will be just fine, just as it was before we decided to throw our hissy fit. For "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13) Thank you Lord for leading us to the promise land of peace and understanding, a land where everyone can see your wisdom in action every moment of every day; a place where there's no need to succumb to the temptation of telling everyone else how wrong we fervently believe they are… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
