No days off...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Have I thought about quitting something I've been doing every single day for years, something I know is good for me, yet it's something I really don't like doing? I know you know that answer, O Lord! So why do I keep on going? It's because I've witnessed this world being full of good intentions without the backbone to follow through on said intentions. It's not for personal glory, far from it; I don't do what I do for fame or glory, but I do it because such a commitment enables me to better understand, albeit in a very small way, the commitment that Jesus made for me (and all of us) in His 33 short years in this life. Every single day, He did what needed to be done, and we are the beneficiaries of His dedication to the task at hand. It's up to us; will we stand up and be counted as one of His disciples, someone relentlessly pursuing perfection, yet knowing when we fail that He ALWAYS picks us up and makes us whole again? "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Save us, we pray, O Lord ! O Lord , we pray, give us success!" (Psalm 118:24-25) Today is indeed THE day, a day to glorify our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by being 100% committed to being ALL IN… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
