Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Vulnerability, in the right dosage, is very good medicine. For relationships meant to last the test of time are forged on the edge of vulnerability one to another. If we're honest with each other, we need to know that the other person in this relationship needs us as much as we need them. Yes, this opens us up to being attacked and being criticized for our perceived weakness. Jesus said, “'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong." (2 Corinthians 12:9-10) In the spiritual realm as it translates to the physical realm, our vulnerability in Christ speaks to our willingness to put Jesus first in all situations and circumstances. More of Him, less of me; THIS is good medicine for the soul… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
