Making a difference...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... What values am I bringing to the table in my life when it comes to leading others to Christ? Am I fighting for my culture, my people, my agenda; for if I am, then what are people going to see / more importantly, what do I want them to see? Truth is, they will see ME because that's what I want them to see! But being a follower of Jesus Christ goes SO much deeper, O Lord, and you know I need to know that the foundation of life everlasting is greater than anything this world could ever bring to my plate. For a life dedicated to Jesus is a life worth living, whereas a life dedicated to self ends when self takes its last breath. It all comes down to, am I leading others to Christ or am I leading others away from Christ? No, nobody is perfect, but we are made perfect through the blood of Jesus Christ when we're obedient to His teachings, and this is something we should never ever forget nor downplay in our few years of life we have remaining. Making a difference makes a difference! For "whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." (Colossians 3:17) This is our calling; this is us making a difference in a world that absolutely NEEDS to see Jesus in action… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
