Light that illuminates our souls...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... How important is light to our daily lives? Truth be known, it is so important we can't imagine life without it even if but one day. It's with this backdrop that we can begin to comprehend the power of spiritual light, the light that illuminates our souls. Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life." (John 8:12) It's an analogy that no one with eyesight could possibly misunderstand; without light in the darkness, surely, we'll stumble and fall, but with light, we're able to navigate to our destination. Jesus is THE light that enables us to live forevermore, fully illuminated in your sight, O Lord… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
