Humility and faith...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... When it comes to us following your will in our lives, we often make the mistake that if only I read my Bible more, if only I treated others better today than I have in the past, if only this, if only that. But until we put Jesus at the forefront of every single thing we say and do, we're missing the point here. The Holy Spirit needs to live in us and through us, not because of anything we've done but because of the things that Jesus has done for us. When the spirit guides us, I mean, TRULY guides us, everything else we do in the name of Jesus simply falls into place. When we're able to control our urges and turn away from our worldly ways and come to you with humility and faith, we have confidence that you will guide our steps in Christ. It's a beautiful thing, for this peace which surpasses all understanding is the way life was meant to be lived, one faithful moment at a time in time; through humility and faith, "We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
