Hate on our lips...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It is interesting to note that even those fanatically and vehemently opposed to those in charge of the ship, on which we are ALL passengers, will be blessed upon that ship reaching its final destination. All in spite of the path chosen and/or the abuse doled out for choosing such a path. But people have a big-time trust issue, which is only trumped by an even bigger control issue. But those in Christ are called to a higher standard; to trust without seeking control; "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23) We should make no mistake, these trust and control issues have a way of spilling over into our spiritual lives, leading us away from Jesus and into Satan's trap of selfish ambition and his power-seeking ways. May we ALL focus all the more on the fruit of the Spirit before it's too late; before we literally die with hate on our lips… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
