Forever loved...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Who is the wind that fills our sails? Oftentimes, it's the love of our life, and this is perfectly understandable and honorable, for to love and to be loved in return is one of life's greatest joys. But earthly love is fleeting, here one day and gone the next. Our challenge is to enjoy life to its fullest as we acknowledge that it is but a temporary existence, all the while, seeking eternal life and love everlasting. We can pursue both but we must prioritize one over the other lest we come to our senses too late, and in the moment, realizing that we neglected our highest of callings, the call to be in Christ forevermore. Jesus said, "I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand." (John 10:28) Our love in this life is but a foreshadowing of love in the next life for those who've put Jesus first in their lives; may we never lose sight of our ultimate goal in Christ; to love and to serve with every ounce of our being until we take our very last breath and enter His everlasting kingdom… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
