Encouraging one another...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Is not going to church on a regular basis the beginning of the end for a Christian? It sounds harsh, but the reality of the situation dictates that we spend time with our brothers and sisters else we begin to spend time in places that lead us away from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What is church some would ask; simply put, it is the assembly of like-minded believers, a group of people doing their best to be Christlike on a daily basis. What better way to spend our time than with people who are trying their very best to be like Jesus. But the things of this world have a way of pulling us away from where we know we need to be. For to desire to be with your people is to desire to be with people that lean on each other time and time again, praying for one another, caring for one another, and building one another up in the Lord. "Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have the habit of doing. Rather, let us encourage each other, and all the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25) Encouraging one another is what the church is all about; never perfect, but together striving to be better tomorrow than we are today… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
