Encouraging one another...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... If I could make every man to be dependable and trustworthy to his wife, and every woman to be loyal and true to her husband, and every child to be obedient to their parents, you know I would do that in a heartbeat throughout this sin-laden world. But all I can do is to encourage those in my realm of influence, all I can do is live the life that Jesus Christ has planned for me, and in doing so, encouraging everyone to walk in His footsteps. "For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps." (1 Peter 2:21) Isn't it fascinating that we are to follow in someone's footsteps who suffered on our behalf just as we are to suffer for one another on each other's behalf? Maybe we shouldn't be surprised, for it's what we were called, in Christ, to do for one another, just as Jesus did for us… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
