Denying the truth...

Father, our creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... There's a position we tend to take way too often in this life; it's called "denial." It's that way of life enabling us to live in a dream world where everything just happens to be someone else's fault; in fact, it's almost always someone else's fault and has little or nothing to do with our own failures and setbacks and inadaquicies. Really? I'm actually going to prove myself wrong in the face of obvious evidence against self? Yes, it seems we'll all do anything and everything to pass the buck. But your word speaks to a different way; "Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life." (‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭6‬-‭8‬) We will always get what we deserve, so why not stay focused on doing good, both now and forevermore… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
