Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's so easy to fall into an idealistic view of life, but it's never as simple as we make it out to be. We want a life where everything goes our way, but it doesn't; a life where everyone should give us credit where we believe credit is due, but the reality is that life ends up being full of rejection, heartache, and pain, a pain that just doesn't seem to go away. So this is where we find ourselves on a daily basis, wondering why, where, when and with whom we can possibly make a difference, and how such a task can be accomplished in our current state of affairs. Our idealistic expectations are constantly battered and torn, so where are we to turn, to pursue something worth pursuing? On this night of hope, this night leading to a day of celebration, a day some 2,000 years ago when our fate changed forevermore. May we know without worldly induced doubt that you have always been mindful of us, a mindfulness that can only be described as PURE love; "What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor." (Psalms 8:4-5) Idealistic? Absolutely! Through Jesus we can idealistically accomplish ANYTHING we set out to do when bringing honor and glory to Him… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
