Crossroads of life...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... The crossroads of life are never easy for us to face. For we've all discovered that reaching a steady state, living life without major obstacles, is much easier than facing new challenges. But we have to believe that this is how you've designed life for us to be: we grow up, go to school, graduate high school/college, get a job, get married, have children, have grandchildren, retire, and grow older all too soon. But yet it's in the midst of all of these challenges wherein we grow and learn how to adapt to our new environments, applying lessons learned as we interactively prepare for our next stage in life, our next new big opportunity, the one cleverly disguised as an insurmountable obstacle. Jesus knew our struggles, after all, He lived them, so His challenge to each of us is consistent and pure and true for He said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him." (John 12:24-26) Jesus is with us EVERY step of our journey in this life and the next, IF we choose to follow Him. And when we do, He will lead us from one challenge to the next, with our lives honorably dedicated to His cause forevermore… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
