Countless blessings...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... I've always thought that one of Satan's biggest deceptions is tricking us into thinking we're trapped in our current situation, and as such, that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. For when we're of this mindset, we're always wishing for something better; if only time would pass by faster at work I could do this or that; if only I had more money I could do this or that, if only I had more more more I could finally be happy. No that is not how it works, for when we're ungrateful our tendency is to be even more ungrateful when presented with new situations and circumstances. I love being around those who know there's a better way, and that way starts with finding the positive in today; "I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned, in whatever situation I am, to be content." (Philippians 4:10-11) Jesus took the opposite approach as compared to Satan, teaching that today is a blessing among blessings, a day to give glory to you, O Lord, a day that speaks to the countless blessings coming our way… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
