Confuzzeled 4sure...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... From a funny and engaging 3rd grader I recently overheard her saying, "At school all my friends call confused, 'confuzzeled.'" Why wouldn't we turn 180 degrees from our old sinful ways and start walking toward Jesus, seeking His free will gift of unconditional forgiveness and love? The easy answer; we're easily confuzzeled! I need to change, I WANT to change, but my old ways pull me away from making the logically correct decision to change. After a difficult teaching Jesus asked His disciples if they wanted to walk away as the others did just a moment prior; Peter answered Him saying, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God." (John 6:68-69) Repentance isn't just about remorse, it's about reorientation. When I align my heart with you, O Lord, when I dedicate my life to Jesus your son, then and only then do I truly begin to understand my place in the scheme of eternity, never to be confuzzeled EVER again… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
