Committing to excellence in Christ...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... There's a way of living our lives, a concept, that's out there, but I fear that very few "find it" on a daily basis. It's the concept of being better today than we were yesterday, which leads to the optimism of being even better tomorrow. I hate it when I witness the world being beaten down, a place where accepting the status quo becomes our daily walk; speaking personally, I refuse to accept such mediocracy. Either we commit to excellent in Christ or we're allowing Satan to pull us down to the lowest depths of his pathetic existence. It's that simple, and yet that complicated! In Christ, we are called to excellence on a daily basis; "Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality." (Colossians 3:23-25) At the end of the day, we should NEVER settle for anything less than what a spirit-led life in Christ delivers to the faithful, for we serve our Lord Christ… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
