Christ living in me…

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... I'm an observer, and in this life I have observed something that could be described as disturbing...too many people hold dearly to their preconceptions and prejudices, knowing that they have no intention of letting go of them because they are just so terribly fond of them. The best they can do is try and dupe others into thinking they are somebody they are certainly not. So who are they trying to fool? With this backdrop we should know that we can't possibly fool everyone. Abraham Lincoln, once famously stated, "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time." It's a vicious cycle. Perhaps we would be better off simply following in the footsteps of Jesus; no preconceptions, no prejudices, only an open mind to the power of Christ living in each of us who have freely chosen to believe in Him and who have been baptized into His death, burial, and resurrection. "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20) …Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
