Believing He is who He said He was...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... In and out of the church, there are just so many who come seeking assistance and help, but it's hard to know who's legitimate and who's trying to pull the wool over our eyes. I can't help but think of Jesus and those that He healed. Who did He heal? None other than those who came to Him with a sincere faith that He was who He said He was! If the requesters aren't willing to put Jesus first and dedicate their time and effort to have Him heal their wounds alongside those who are also working to promote Jesus and His ways, then perhaps we should utilize a similar Christlike guideline. For Jesus said, "If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town." (Matthew 10:14) Should we give generously? Absolutely! Should we give to those not welcoming us or not willing to listen to the words of Jesus? I think not… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
