Be transformed...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... What a wonderful world this would be if everyone had the mind of Christ! It's hard to imagine such a perfect world, a world where the best interests of others are at the forefront of everyone's approach to life. What was the net effect Jesus had on this world? He was merciful, and He was willing to make the perfect sacrifice, and He was not conformed to this world, but rather, just the opposite, He was committed to teaching, by example, a better way, a way leading to life. Oh, it's easy to see why selfish so-called religions thrive and survive for it's easy to teach and practice such self-centered ways, but Jesus calls us higher and higher; to rise above self and into the service of others; THIS is our calling, "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬)… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
