Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... To worship is to submit, but am I willing to submit? That's a question for the ages, and one that all of us need to ask ourselves on a daily basis. Lord, you expect us to know where we come from, and to acknowledge that we are the created, not the Creator, and as such, to be willing to humbly bow down to that which deserves our entire honor, respect, and submission. But the world teaches us something quite different. Be all you can be, pick yourselves up by your own bootstraps, and pursue with gusto all YOU so richly deserve in this life; for do we not deserve the very best of everything we can get our grubby and greedy hands on? But to me, that sounds a lot like calling evil good and good evil, as Isaiah wrote so many years ago; "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah‬ ‭5‬:‭20‬) Those in Christ have been taught to put others ahead of self as they acknowledge the beautiful gift of life this very day… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
