A new creation...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... It's a tale as old as time; are we our own person or are we a creation that somebody else wants us to be? We're fooling ourselves if we don't think we're influenced by those around us. For when we let things into our lives, those things will most assuredly influence and manipulate our self-derived thoughts into the thoughts others want us to think. Oh, we think we can rise above it, but your word teaches otherwise; "Do not be deceived: Bad company ruins good morals." (‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭33‬) ‬‬We are called to be better, never in and of ourselves, but rather, through Christ our lives will be forever immortalized; "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17)… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
