A monumental challenge...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Striving to be a better person with each new day is a huge, monumental challenge. So why it so important that we pursue such a challenge? Simply put, our character is a reflection of our soul. We may think our position in society, our intellectual status, and certainly, most prevalent in this culture, our financial status, are the things that define us the most, but those statements couldn't be further from the truth. I contend that when we're gone from this life, there's a 99.9% chance that nobody will ever remember our position, how smart we thought we were, or how much money we perceived we had. But our character as we've influence those roundabout us will live on, and for those IN Jesus Christ, the source of the most magnanimous character this world has ever seen, they will have met the challenge of a lifetime as Jesus promised when He said, "So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 10:32)...Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
