The guts to do the right thing...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Do I have the intestinal fortitude (guts) to stomach bad news and then to act accordingly, or do I complain and groan and lament about my "woe is me" current situation? Truth is, I'm human, and truth is, I tend to complain, but in my better moments, I understand that I have a higher calling in Jesus Christ. For He is the very one who had every reason to complain, groan, and lament His current situation, but Jesus always found a better way, the way leading to life; even on the cross, Jesus found the time to think of others; the thief said to Jesus, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭42‬-‭43‬) No, we cannot imagine better words of truth from someone who was struggling immensely, may we go and do likewise… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
