No bigger mistake...

Father, your creation declares your greatness and lovingkindness, encouraging statements of pure truth in our daily walk... Could there be a bigger mistake than discounting the horrific nature of hell? The problem is, we love life, and we love our beautiful experiences in this life. So much so that we stay focused on the heavenly aspects of earth, ignoring the commitment to Jesus Christ, the very one who protects us from the hell that we can only imagine knowing, but rarely dwell upon. So we're tempted to go down that rabbit hole as Kane Brown did when he sang these lyrics concerning how special this life can feel; "Everybody's talkin' ′bout heaven like they just can′t wait to go, Sayin' how it′s gonna be so good, so beautiful; Lyin' next to you, in this bed with you, I ain′t convinced, 'Cause, I don′t know how, I don't know how heaven, heaven, Could be better than this." But we should make no mistake, there's a massive price to be paid for commitment to the wrong cause, but when we get it right, your word of truth testifies that the result will be priceless. But oh, what a massive mistake it will be if we exchange a commitment to Christ today for an eternity of suffering in hell tomorrow… Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that you are the way, the truth, and the life; THE answer for those committed to seeking the truth in all things!
